Gretchen + Joe {Indianapolis Children’s Museum Wedding}

What do you picture when you think about YOUR perfect wedding?  What location, theme, or special touches would you include would make all your guests say, “Wow!  That was totally ________!” <— insert your name here.

For Gretchen and Joe, this was that perfect day.  If you know them, then you already know about their big hearts and their fun-loving spirits.  Their kind of joy cannot be hidden.  Rather, it’s 100% contagious.  (And to be completely honest, I have never…ne-ver… seen a bride and groom laugh so much on their wedding day.  Laughter is their love language.)   What better way to share their happiness than hosting their wedding at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum?  Dinosaurs, Transformers, and carousel rides..oh my!

When you can’t help but giggle…

STOP!  Shut the front door!  What?!  No Way!  AHH!

This.   Yes this.  It happened.

And he’s kind of mine.

Well, he’s MY nephew.  He melted MY heart.  And his smooshy little face is all cutesy as one of MY favorite characters.

I’m a puddle.

I hope you enjoy this little bean as much as I do! Newborn-1

Sara + Nick {Married}

Dear Sara and Nick,

You two are the most adorable couple and are, clearly, crazy about each other!

Every detail of your big day was thoughtfully perfect and your friends and family were a blast to be around.

Sara, sheesh!  Could you be more stunning?! (I have to admit that I have major “dress envy.”)

Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  We hope these images (and the many more not shown here) will help you to always remember the day you started your life together.

Best wishes to you both!

-Katie & Doug

Megan + Bryce {Married}

One couldn’t imagine a more perfect day for the world’s sweetest couple to tie the knot.  Summer, sunny, temps in the 70s (in JULY!!!), an incredible venue (the Indiana University Auditorium), and great friends and family to help celebrate.  The day was completely Perfect.  Period.

Megan couldn’t have been more elegantly stunning on her big day.  (Bryce agreed.)

212Megan and Bryce chose to spend some time before the ceremony to soak it all in.  And that all began with their “first look.”  Bryce was beaming.3

411They decided to write their own vows and read them to each other privately.  We were out of earshot, yet the gravity of their love and commitment was beautiful to behold.567The lovely couple were soon joined by their wedding party.  It was a family affair.  Megan had her three brothers and Bryce had his brother and sister.89IMG_818910The moment had arrived. 131415161718.51819202122Then, it was time to party! 311232425262728293030
